Olin Browne shot a 4 under par final round of 67 to claim victory in the Deutsche Bank Classic after John Rollins, Jason Bohn, Carl Pettersson, Billy Andrade and Browne went into the fourth round in a five way tie at the top of a crowded leaderboard at 10 under the card.
The Deutsche Bank Championship was supposed to be a benefit for world number 1 Tiger Woods. After an opening round of 65 the current US Masters and British Open champion wasn't cited on the leaderboard after rounds of 73 and 72.
The 46 year old Browne shot rounds of 68, 65, 70 and 67 to finish at 14-under 270. He finished one shot ahead of Bohn who finished with a 68 after a birdie at the last. Browne earned $990,000 for his first PGA TOUR win since 1999.

Adam Scott is regarded as the most exciting young Australian golfer since Greg Norman. At the age of 23 years, eight months and 12 days, he became the youngest winner of The Players Championship on the US PGA Tour, an event considered by many to be the game's fifth Major.
Scott is a four-time winner on the US PGA Tour. His initial breakthrough came at the 2003 Deutsche Bank Championship after a second round 62 set up a four stroke win and saw Adam break into the top 20 in the World Rankings for the first time.
