Chad Campbell shot a second round 66 on Thursday to grab a four-shot lead at the Bob Hope Classic being played over five days in California.

First round leader Pat Perez followed up his opening round 63 with a lackluster 73 to be in a tie for second with Australian John Senden, who shot a 63 to join Perez at 11 under.

The 2002 and 2004 Hope champion Phil Mickelson shot a 69 that left him six shots off the lead at 135. Can lefty close the gap with three rounds to play?
