Woods holds off chasing pack

Tiger Woods leads the British Open after the third round by a stroke at 13 under from fellow American Chris DiMarco, Spaniard Sergio Garcia and South African Ernie Els.

Woods will partner Sergio Garcia in tomorrow's final round after the Spaniard shot a third round 65 to join Els and DiMarco in a tie for second place at 12 under.

Woods struggled with the putter throughout the third round as he posted a one under par 71.

Former US Open champion Jim Furyk is still in the hunt at 11 under the card as is Australian Adam Scott who carded a 2 under par 70 to be at 9 under heading into the fourth and final round.
