Woods struggles with 73 at Deutsche Bank Championship 4th September 2005

World number 1 Tiger Woods followed up his opening round 65 with a second round 73 that left him five shots behind. Olin Browne and Jeff Brehaut share the lead at 9 under the card, one clear of Robert Allenby, Billy Andrade and Tim Petrovic.

Woods said after completing his round, ``I didn't hit it well. I didn't putt well. I didn't chip well. That was ugly today. But I'm still in the ball game.''

Browne and Brehaut both had rounds to remember. Browne shot a 65 after five consecutive birdies while Brehaut got off to a flying start with an eagle at the second hole before adding four birdies to finish with a 66.

Adam Scott

Adam Scott is regarded as the most exciting young Australian golfer since Greg Norman. At the age of 23 years, eight months and 12 days, he became the youngest winner of The Players Championship on the US PGA Tour, an event considered by many to be the game's fifth Major.

Scott is a four-time winner on the US PGA Tour. His initial breakthrough came at the 2003 Deutsche Bank Championship after a second round 62 set up a four stroke win and saw Adam break into the top 20 in the World Rankings for the first time.
