A stellar college career that saw David Toms named First-team All-American at Louisiana State University in 1988-89 and Southeastern Conference Player of the Year. Toms came to prominence on the PGA Tour on his Masters Tournament debut in 1998, shooting a final round 64 with a back nine of 29 to tie for sixth.
Toms made his Major breakthrough in 2001 when he enjoyed his best season on TOUR, with three victories (second only to Tiger Woods' five), nine top-10s and third place on money list. His Major came at the US PGA Championship when he defeated Phil Mickelson by a stroke at the Atlanta Athletic Club.
In 2004 Toms finished outside the top ten on the US PGA Tour Money List for the first time since 2000. He made amends at the 2005 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship when he defeated Chris DiMarco 6 and 5.
Toms has hit a hole in one with his David Toms Foundation which provides opportunities for underprivileged, abused and abandoned children through funding programs that are designed to enhance a child's character, self-esteem and career possibilities. The David Toms Foundation donated the $270,000 cost of building a two-story, 3,400-square-foot Friendship House, which is a home and community center in one.

Adam Scott is regarded as the most exciting young Australian golfer since Greg Norman. At the age of 23 years, eight months and 12 days, he became the youngest winner of The Players Championship on the US PGA Tour, an event considered by many to be the game's fifth Major.
Scott is a four-time winner on the US PGA Tour. His initial breakthrough came at the 2003 Deutsche Bank Championship after a second round 62 set up a four stroke win and saw Adam break into the top 20 in the World Rankings for the first time.
