Luke Donald is considered one of the brightest young stars in British
golf after winning twice on the European Tour in 2004. He made his
Ryder Cup debut for Europe in the win over America at Oakland Hills
and then partnered Paul Casey at the 2004 WGC World Cup to secure
victory for England in Spain.

An outstanding amateur career paved the way to turning professional.
Donald played in Great Britain and Ireland's Walker Cup victories over
the United States in 1999 and 2001, collecting a record of seven wins
and one defeat. He then went to

Donald graduated through the US PGA Tour Qualifying School and earned
his first victory in his rookie season. Donald won the 2002 Southern
Farm Bureau Classic and has finished 58th and 35th on the money list
with $1,088,205 and $1,646,268 in his first two years on tour,
becoming only the 11th rookie to reach seven figures.
