Eldrick Tiger Woods has been rewriting the record books since making his debut on the PGA Tour in 1996. Woods has already won 57 tournaments, 42 of which were on the PGA Tour, including the 1997, 2001, and 2002 Masters Tournaments, 1999 and 2000 PGA Championships, 2000 and 2002 U.S. Open Championship, and 2000 British Open Championship.
Tiger became the first ever player to hold all four professional major championships at the same time when he won his second Masters in 2001. He is the career victories leader among active players on the PGA Tour, and is the career money list leader.
In winning the British Open, Woods became not only the youngest player to complete the Grand Slam of professional major championships but only the fifth player to ever to do so, following legends of the game in Ben Hogan, Gene Sarazen, Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus. Tiger was also the youngest Masters champion ever at the age of 21 years, three months and 14 days.
Woods also became the youngest player ever to achieve the Number 1 Official World Golf ranking on June 15, 1997, in his 42nd week as a professional at age 21 years, 24 weeks. The previous youngest was German Bernhard Langer, age 29 years, 31 weeks in 1986.
Woods who is in his 10th year as a professional golfer has already amassed in excess of a staggering $55 million in prizemoney.

Adam Scott is regarded as the most exciting young Australian golfer since Greg Norman. At the age of 23 years, eight months and 12 days, he became the youngest winner of The Players Championship on the US PGA Tour, an event considered by many to be the game's fifth Major.
Scott is a four-time winner on the US PGA Tour. His initial breakthrough came at the 2003 Deutsche Bank Championship after a second round 62 set up a four stroke win and saw Adam break into the top 20 in the World Rankings for the first time.
